Terms of Service

Who we are. Global Med Tutor (“GMT”, “we”) provides online medical education, including live tutoring and digital learning resources, at globalmedtutor.com. Contact: info@globalmedtutor.com.
No affiliation. GMT is an independent education provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for the NBME, FSMB, ECFMG, USMLE, the GMC, the Medical Schools Council (UKMLA), the Medical Council of Canada, IFOM, any medical school or any licensing authority. Exam names are used only to describe what we teach.
No guaranteed results. Exam outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your own study, attendance and exam-day performance. We do not guarantee any score, pass, match or licence. Any results shown on our site are individual outcomes shared with permission and are not typical or promised.
Educational use only. Our content is for exam and educational preparation. It is not medical advice and must not be used to diagnose or treat any patient.
Bookings and payment. Prices are shown in USD on our Pricing page. Package hours are confirmed once payment is received and are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.
Cancellations and rescheduling. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule a session. Sessions missed without notice are counted as used. If we cancel, you receive a replacement session at a time that suits you.
Conduct. Please be respectful to tutors and other students. We may end a session with anyone who is abusive or disruptive, without refund.
Recording. You may not record sessions without our written agreement. We record sessions only with your prior consent.
Intellectual property. All materials, including questions, cases, notes, videos, the Cognitive Autopsy System and study tools, belong to GMT. They are for your personal use only. You may not copy, share, resell or upload them, including to AI tools or group chats.
Accounts. Accounts and access links are for one person only. Sharing access may lead to termination without refund.
Liability. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Nothing here removes consumer rights you have under the law of your own country.
Changes. We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.

Privacy Policy

Who controls your data. Global Med Tutor, operated by Dr. Raheel Azhar, United Arab Emirates. Contact: info@globalmedtutor.com.

What we collect.

Details you give us: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, medical school, year of study, exam and exam date, and any scores you choose to share.
Learning data: quiz answers, scores and time spent on our tools.
Payment confirmations from PayPal or other processors. We never see or store your full card details.
Basic website data: IP address, browser and pages visited, through cookies and analytics.

Why we use it. To deliver and schedule your tutoring, personalise your study plan, process payments, send service messages, improve our tools and, only if you opt in, send you updates and offers. For students in the UK and EU, our legal bases are contract, legitimate interests and consent (for marketing).
Who we share it with. Only the service providers we need to run GMT: video platforms (such as Zoom or Google Meet), payment processors (such as PayPal), and email, hosting, scheduling and form tools. We never sell your data. Some providers are outside your country; we use providers with appropriate safeguards.
Testimonials and results. We publish your name, school, exam or result only with your written permission, and we remove it on request.
How long we keep it. Student records for up to 3 years after your last session, payment records for as long as the law requires, and marketing data until you unsubscribe.
Your rights. You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to marketing, by emailing info@globalmedtutor.com. We reply within 30 days. Students in the UK and EU may also complain to their data protection authority.
Cookies. We use essential cookies to run the site and analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
Age. Our services are intended for students aged 18 and over. Younger students need the consent of a parent or guardian.

Refund Policy

Free trial first. Your first 30 minutes are free, so you can judge whether our teaching suits you before paying anything.
No refunds. Fees for single sessions, tutoring packages and digital products are non-refundable once paid.
Flexible scheduling. If your circumstances change, for example illness, a new exam date or clinical placements, contact us. We will reschedule your sessions or adjust your plan wherever it is feasible.
Package validity. Package hours are valid for 3 months from purchase. Extensions may be considered case by case.
Technical problems. If a session is disrupted by a technical issue on either side, we reschedule it at no extra cost.
If we cancel. You receive a replacement session at a time that suits you.
Contact. Email info@globalmedtutor.com with your name and booking details to arrange any changes.
